Gossip Girl
Like gossiping? Love chick flick? Then Gossip Girl is your main course.
Seriously I have no idea why I am so addicted to Gossip Girl. Maybe because I am a girl???
Gossip Girl revolves around Serena, Blair, Dan, Nate, Chuck and a few other people who are in the upper class of Manhattan (in Upper East Side).
The rich and famous are not always as happy as they seem to be. There are ups and downs in life, happiness and unhappiness, tears, laughters and the things that happen to everyone.
Perhaps the only upside is that they have all the money in the world and they get to do anything they want with the money - even though the money comes from their parents.
Love, hatred, revenge, cheating and rivalry are so common in Gossip Girl.
Watch them fight for their life, love, college and everything else that matters.
Ladies, you might need tissues... a lot of tissues... just in case...
Gentlemen, make sure your lady has all the tissues she needs...

Malaysian Studies Part One
M a l a y s i a n S t u d i e s
Malaysian Studies is a compulsory University subject in Malaysia.
Basically it is "History" and everything else about Malaysia - the government, the constitution, King & Queen, elections, e.t.c.
I wasn't interested in History when I was in Secondary School but now that I am pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Universiti, suddenly History comes alive.
It felt good when I was working on my first assignment on Malaysian Studies.
There are five (5) tutorials that I have to attend throughout this semester. The next class - 16 October 2011 (which would be Tutorial #4).
Stay tune !

Friends are Pregnant But Not Me
Image: Pregnancy Week by Week Symptoms
It is stressful enough to see most of my friends who get married after my own marriage, are now pregnant. Some of them gave birth recently. Some of them just found out their pregnancy. Others are awaiting the arrival of their baby.
How can it be NOT stressful for me who are married for more than two years and still no sign of pregnancy?
While friends are being supportive, they just cannot hide their happiness. Of course I am happy for them. After all, they are my friends. How can I not be happy for them?
Almost every day, there are news on baby at the dumpster or baby in the toilet or baby by the river - all dead. Only a handful of babies are alive when the public spotted them.
Why is this happening?
If you are seeing this sign around, you know there is something wrong with our society :

Apparently those who have/had premarital sex are easy to get pregnant - usually at first "shot".
But why dump the baby at the dumpster? The toilet? By the river? Are you even human? You are treating your baby like rubbish, when you are the one who have to go through the pregnancy and the birth. Even animals love their offspring. We have adoption centres, so get rid of your shame and put your baby in the right place, if you do not want to see your baby again!
Then again, you are not supposed to be shameful, since you are not shameful of having unprotected sex.
So here's my message for those who are pregnant and thinking about killing the baby / leaving the baby at the dumpster, toilet, e.t.c. and those who have murdered your own flesh and blood -
Hey, whoever you are who throw your baby away like rubbish,I hope to have a baby, might not be now, but some day...
Don't you feel bad about yourself for throwing your baby away? You are a murderer by leaving your baby at the dumpster, toilet, river and so on. Even if you do not want to keep the baby, you can give your baby away for adoption. At least your baby will live. There are many people who want to have a baby, cannot get a baby! At least you won't be a murderer by sending your baby to adoption centres. Do not treat your baby like rubbish. Have a little sympathy for the little one.
Concerned future mother.

Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Psychology

I am currently pursuing Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Psychology at Wawasan Open University.
With open entry, I am qualify to pursue a Degree program thanks to the 6A's I got in SPM.
Otherwise, you can apply using STPM results as well, for regular entry.
Psychology is under "School of Foundation and Liberal Studies" in Wawasan Open University.
In order to qualify for graduation, I need to complete 120 credit hours and obtain a minimum of CGPA 2.0 (which seems easy, perhaps not!).
120 credit hours is equivalent to four years, if you are studying for 15 credit hours, one semester.
It would be 120 credit hours in eight semesters, thus four years (two semesters in one year).
However, most people need about five years to complete the whole program and graduate.
I am taking only one subject = 3 credit hours for my first semester, starting July 2011 and my subject is Malaysian Studies.
Hopefully I would be able to do well in my assignments and final exam (hoping to score and A).
Wish me luck!

Emma Watson Crush on Tom Felton
I know it is old news but Emma Watson had a crush on Tom Felton? That's news to me.
Looking back, I have been a fan of Harry Potter since I was 14. Now I am 24. So, ten years as a fan of the BOOK series, and now a fan of the movie series.
Here is a video of confession, that Emma Watson has a crush on Tom Felton.
Honestly I could not imagine both of them together as in "together" but it would be very interesting, if they were to date each other.
It is not surprising why there are so many "Dramione" videos on Youtube. Made me wonder what the heck / who the heck is Dramione...
I think it would be even better for the characters to be "together" rather than in real life. Would definitely makes Harry Potter series even "spicier" than ever.
Imagine, Draco loves Hermione, Ron loves Hermione, Hermione could not decide who she loves, then Draco proposes and she ends up with Draco, something like that. It is like a love triangle but then it would make Harry Potter a love story.
So it is -
Draco Malfoy Vs. Hermione Granger / Tom Felton Vs. Emma Watson
What do you think?
Are they MFEO, both as characters and in real life?
Center Stage (2000)
My latest addiction, ballet. Ballet dancers are acting nicely and gracefully in Center Stage, which is why I am so much addicted to the movie, Center Stage and Center Stage: Turn It Up.
Watching them dance around so smoothly makes me happy! Now I wish to be a ballet dancer, although I don't really dance.
Unfortunately I am not a ballet dancer, I am just good at watching people dance.
For me, Sascha Radetsky (Charlie) is an extremely talented male ballet dancer, both real life and on screen. Together with Amanda Schull (Jody), they make perfect couple for ballet (once again, real life and on screen).
Center Stage is about 12 aspiring ballet dancers struggling to be on top in American Ballet Theatre (ABT). The story line is interesting but I don't really like the ending very much (Jody joined Cooper's company, rather than ABT).
Choreography is excellent and the casting is perfect...
I have no idea how they can do the en pointe thingy. It is amazing how they can do en pointe and remain en pointe for a long time.
Watch this movie if you are a fan of ballet! I never get bored watching Center Stage.
Ramadan is Here
Fasting month (Ramadan) is here, finally.
It is truly a blessing to be alive and able to perform ibadah.
Ramadan is NOT just about refrain from eating and drinking, but Ramadan is about patience, spirituality, humility and submissiveness to God.
Muslims will fast from dawn to dusk.
I love Ramadan.
Ask me about Ramadan.

Chromebooks - The New Laptop Generation
Have you heard of Chromebooks?
This is what Chromebook is all about:

These are some of the Chromebooks available.
Personally I think Chromebooks are very cool as I love the web. I love being connected to the internet 24/7.
Some says that with smart phones and tablets available in the market, who needs another netbook like Chromebooks? However, I think Chromebooks are excellent in terms of size and functionalities.
What do you think?

Tonight, we celebrated a birthday (mum-in-law) and Father's Day (dad-in-law) and I felt rather moody and really sad...
